Husk Rum and Gin Distillery

This little distillery, gained international recognition when Margot Robbie posted an Instagram picture drinking their signature distilled ‘Ink Gin’. Easily recognizable by its purple hue, this award-winning gin is something special. Created and distilled along the Tweed River at Husk Distillery, the gin is infused with ink from the butterfly pea flower and a precise combination of tonics which cause the gin to change colour. But it’s not just the gin that makes for an excellent shot. The distillery and surrounding land are a wonderland of untouched rainforest, cane fields and lush greenery.

Tours run Wednesdays to Sundays at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. And for $35 a head, you’ll receive a delightfully purple Ink Gin and tonic on arrival.
