Explore Federer’s Wimbledon

Always dreamed of watching Roger Federer at Wimbledon? The championships will be held this year from July 1-14. You might not see the great man in the flesh – but you can go behind the scenes with a visit to Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum and a 90-minute tour of the grounds. More details here

What is a truffle kerfuffle?

To find out you have to head to Australia’s truffle country in WA’s southern forests, about a 3.5 hour drive from Perth. During the celebrations at Fonty’s Pool in Manjimup from June 21-23, join hunters – including some very excited pups – to search out prized black truffles. Farewell the Qantas Jumbo

With all of the seven remaining Boeing 747s in the Qantas fleet due to be retired by next year, time is running out to fly the Big Bird. The airline will end the 747-service to Honolulu and San Francisco later this year, leaving just Tokyo, Santiago and Johannesburg. Luckily however Qantas will be using Boeing 747s on several one-off Australian domestic services later in the year. Details here
