It is with great pleasure that DriveAway announces the appointment of Charlie Youssef as General Manager.

Over the last 16 years, Mr Youssef has gained a deep understanding of the DriveAway business on both a global and local scale and has the required skills and expertise to help drive the business forward. Mr Youssef will be second in charge to Managing Director, Chris Hamill with specific responsibilities for IT and Digital Marketing.

Commenting on his new role, Charlie Youssef said, “I’m looking forward to stepping into the role of General Manager at such an exciting time for DriveAway. Working with our team and strategic partners to drive further growth through a focus on technological improvements and enhancing our digital presence, whilst maintaining our exceptional customer service”.

Commenting on the revised structure, DriveAway Managing Director Chris Hamill said, “I am delighted to see Charlie step into this new role. Charlie brings with him a solid understanding of the technical elements of our business as well as a real understanding of quality service, which will only benefit our travel agent partners in the future”.

DriveAway’s previous General Manger, Michelle Carpio has moved into the new role as the Head of People & Culture with a focus on people development and improving the culture of the DriveAway team.
