Helloworld Travel has acquired New Zealand sports travel specialist, the Williment Travel Group, following its departure from the former First Travel Group.

The announcement yesterday came hot on the heels of another, separate Helloworld advance – the launch of new developments in business insight technology leading the way in reporting technology offerings.

The Williment Travel Group is an institution in New Zealand. Established in 1967 by former All Black, Mick Williment, the premier sports tour specialist caters for a broad selection of sporting codes: rugby sevens, motor racing, tennis, rugby league, horse racing, netball, cricket, golf and rugby union.https://join.travelmanagers.com.au/benefits/earn-more/

Helloworld yesterday put the Williment Travel Group’s annual TTV at over NZD 15 million.

Helloworld Travel chief executive and managing director, Andrew Burnes, said the Williment team, “with their breadth of product and experience across a wide range of sporting codes and in event management” added a new dimension to Helloworld’s New Zealand business “and will allow us to open up the amazing offerings Williments has to the market via our Helloworld network members”.

Just a day or two earlier, Helloworld Travel announced it had embarked on a nine-month project to enhance the array of business insight measuring tools it offers agents across their Branded, Associate and Helloworld Business Travel networks.

Developed in conjunction with Resurg Group, leaders in the field of Franchise Business Insights, the Helloworld Travel bespoke technology is designed to help agents increase revenue, yield and profit across various areas of the business by showing agents exactly how their business is performing.

Using the HLO Business Insights Dashboard, agents can track their level of preferred sales, their current yield, individual consultant performance and other key metrics. See: Helloworld Travel launches industry leading reporting technologies
