Dedicated to living well, Global Wellness Day promotes good physical and mental health through educational and experiential wellness activities around the world. This year, Global Wellness Day at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village will include a Day of Wellness with a series of classes dedicated to living and feeling your very best.

The day begins with a complimentary strength training class lead by fitness guru and co-founder of KAYO Body Christine Bullock. Beginning at 11:00 am PST, the 60-minute full body class will take place on the Hotel’s pagoda lawn overlooking the sprawling tranquil gardens. The invigorating class will incorporate cardio exercise, deep stretching and body bands to target acute muscle groups.

“I am thrilled to be a part of Four Seasons Hotel Westlake’s Global Wellness Day and help bring awareness to such an important cause,” explains Christine Bullock, fitness expert and Founder of KAYO Body. “There is nothing more important than your health and their partnership with California Institute of Health & Longevity champions that. By sharing my passion for fitness and launching my skincare line, KAYO Body, with their world renowned spa on this day, I hope to only help spread the mission further.”

Following the class, guests are invited to enjoy the Hotel’s more than 40,000 square foot (3,716 square metre) tranquil spa. The sprawling space includes a relaxing indoor pool, sauna and steam room.

After enjoying a moment to freshen up in the expansive spa, guests will be treated to a KAYO hand treatment and consultation with KAYO Better Body Care specialists. The KAYO Body hand treatment soothes and rejuvenates the skin leaving a reinvigorating feeling.

Guests will delight in wellness recipes and a seasonal lunch within the Hotel’s Wellness Kitchen. The 60-minute culinary class will showcase easy to make recipes led by registered dietitians from California Health & Longevity Institute. Following the preparation of the meal, guests will enjoy the ingredient driven and health minded meal before retreating to the Living Room for an afternoon of mediation.

While placing an emphasis on sleep, the experts from California Health & Longevity Institute will lead guests through a workshop on tricks and tips to getting better sleep. The 30-minute session will incorporate breathing practices with oil infused therapies to explain how to create an environment for a better night’s sleep.

For the ultimate wellness experience, the day will conclude with a 30-minute sound bath mediation. The sound bath meditation uses bowls, gongs, and other instruments to help shift the brain into a more relaxed state.

Once the workshops have ended, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the Hotel’s indoor pool and spa facilities at their leisure.
