Emirates, the official airline of the 2019 Arabian Travel Market, welcomed over 14,000 visitors to its iconic stand at the show – and the airline has just released the dramatic shape of its pavilion for Expo 2020 Dubai, which will focus on the future of commercial aviation.

The Emirates stand at the 2019 Arabian Travel Market showcased the airline’s game-changing Boeing 777-300ER First Class Private Suites, with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, up to 3.7 square metres of personal space and ultra-modern design features inspired by Mercedes-Benz.

Visitors to the stand also had a chance to experience the airline’s Business Class seat on its Boeing 777-300ER, inspired by the interior of a modern sports car and featuring ergonomically designed headrest, touchscreen controls, lighting options, and a personal mini-bar.

In addition, visitors were able to mingle and network on the ground at the Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge, offering a spacious social area, comfortably accommodating up to 26 passengers at 40,000 feet. The First Class Shower Spa and generously-pitched Economy Class seats were also on display.

UAE royal dignitaries and VIP guests visited the Emirates stand including His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation and President of the UAE National Olympic Committee.

The Arabian Travel Market 2019, the region’s largest travel and trade exhibition, took place from 28 April until 1 May 2019. Emirates signed three memorandums of understanding with key industry partners to enhance tourism traffic to Dubai and within its network and held more than 124 meetings on its stand with trade partners and suppliers.

MEANWHILE, Emirates, premier partner and the official airline of Expo 2020 Dubai, has unveiled the design and visitor experience concepts of its ultramodern pavilion for the six-month mega-event. The Emirates Pavilion’s design and visitor experience will use interactive technologies and design focusing on the future of commercial aviation. Emirates has already broken ground on the pavilion and construction began in March 2019.
