Going from strength to strength, W Bali – Seminyak has excelled at the Marriott International BMSC Conference and GMs’ Summitrecognised three awards.
Held at W Shanghai – The Bund in March 2019, the Summit saw representatives from over 700 Marriott hotels across Asia Pacific attend.
W Bali – Seminyak were awarded; General Manager of the Year 2018, Brand & Marketing team (APEC) 2018, and Revenue Management Property Team (APEC Luxury) of the year 2018.
Marriott Rewards & Recognition programs are designed to celebrate high performing associates in the Sales & Revenue Management discipline. Brand, Marketing, Sales & Consumer Services (BMSC) in Asia Pacific is about targeting the customer with the right brands, maximising experiences at a premium price, through the most optimised channels.
Craig Seaward, General Manager of W Bali – Seminyak was the man of the hour at the Summit, taking home multiple honours. After receiving Brand & Marketing team and Revenue Management Property Team, Seaward was crowned ‘General Manager of The Year’ for Marriott International APAC. The award was presented to Seaward for demonstrating exemplary leadership during 2018, serving as a consistent role model, displaying bold leadership, professional expertise, innovation and maintaining high achievement.

2018 was a milestone year for W Bali – Seminyak, hosting Wake Up Call; the biggest music festival on the hotel’s calendar in October 2018. The event saw 20 artists perform over two days to more than 5,000 people at the hotel which was then showcased to 13 million guests on live feeds.
This recognition follows recent success for W Bali – Seminyak who was recently awarded the #1 hotel in Indonesia by DestinAsian at the prestigious DestinAsian Readers’ Choice Awards 2019.
