Princess Cruises Pacific Princess will return to the South Pacific, homeporting in Tahiti from September 2020. Guests will enjoy the welcoming spirit and idyllic islands of French Polynesia – including Tahiti, Bora Bora and Moorea – onboard the intimate 670-guest Pacific Princess as the cruise liner offers a series of roundtrip sailings for the first time since 2015.

Cruise bookings onboard Pacific Princess to French Polynesia open today and will offer travellers a trove of unspoiled treasures with sparkling lagoons and white-sand beaches available on five- and 10-day Tahiti and French Polynesia departures, sailing roundtrip from Tahiti’s capital Papeete.

Every voyage includes overnight calls in Papeete and the romantic Bora Bora, as well as a late-night stay in Raiatea – the second largest isle after Tahiti. Additional ports of call include Huahine, Rangiroa, and Moorea.

“Tahiti and French Polynesia are go-to destinations in themselves and Princess Cruises offers the best way to explore remote island life onboard one of our more intimate ships,” said Princess Cruises’ Senior Vice President Asia Pacific, Stuart Allison. “The upcoming spring 2020 season will mark Pacific Princess’ first visit to the South Pacific in more than five years.”

“While Pacific Princess is the smallest ship in our fleet, she is also the ship that propelled our brand growth in Australia, supported by the nation’s love of cruising. We are elated to see her return to the South Pacific.

Pacific Princess was christened in Sydney on 8 December 2002 by founding director of The Fred Hollows Foundation, Gabi Hollows AO.

“Princess Cruises has a long history with Tahiti and is a highly valued partner showcasing the diversity of our islands, the rich authentic local culture, and the great variety of experiences that await discovery,” said Tahiti Tourisme Directeur Général and CEO Paul Sloan. “We are eagerly looking forward to next year and welcoming Pacific Princess back to The Islands of Tahiti.”

Fares for a 10-night cruise onboard Pacific Princess to French Polynesia – including calls to Bora Bora, Huahine and Moorea – sailing roundtrip from Tahiti departing 15 October 2020 start from $2,939 per person twin share*.
