As winter approaches Aussies can take a sailing adventure for 30 per cent off 

Intrepid Travel is offering up to 30 per cent off select sailing adventures in May.

“Aussies who are dreading the thought of the chilly winter ahead can take a spur-of-the-moment sailing trip to chase the sun,” says Brett Mitchell, Regional Director Asia Pacific at Intrepid Travel. “These trips are perfect for sun-lovers, as they move at a slower pace and allow for plenty of free time to lounge and relax, yet still include local interactions and experiences.”

Bahamas Sailing Adventure: Sail around one of the world’s best sailing destinations, the Bahamas, and gain a greater understanding of the culture within the Caribbean islands. On this trip, travellers will fish, view British Imperial architecture on various islands, swim in the clear turquoise waters, explore white sand beaches, visit Hopetown’s candy-striped lighthouse and go kayaking in crystal clear waters. Highlights for travellers include embracing a week without technology, snorkelling with sea turtles in uninhibited mangrove islands and returning home as a more experienced sailor.

Sail Italy: Amalfi to ProcidaTravel to Italy’s southwestern coast and visit Amalfi, Capri, Pozzuoli and Procida. On this trip, travellers will see the bright lights of Cannes and St Tropez, explore the hidden coves of the Iles d’Hyeres Archipelago with the option to hike, bike or stroll through national parks, olive groves and pine forests and relax on its various beaches.
