Last night, Channel 10’s Sunday Night Takeaway hosted by Julia Morris and Dr. Chris Brown saw six lucky winners from diverse life situations win a ten-day trip for two to South Africa in the Happiest Minute segment thanks to South African Tourism, Swagman Africa and South African Airways.

From hard-working high school sweethearts nominated by their children to a patient who had just overcome cancer and an 18 year old girl who instead of partying with her friends stayed at home every night caring for her brother. This emotive segment had the audience buzzing with excitement. All deserving winners won return economy flights to South Africa for a safari experience of a lifetime on South African Airways with 6 nights at Makutsi Safari Springs, and 3 nights in Cape Town at the Sun Square City Bowl, including tours to the Cape Winelands, Cape Point and Table Mountain, thanks to the prize partners.

South African drummers and dancers led the branded plane onto the stage with Bold and the Beautiful legend, Ronn Moss, waving their winning boarding passes. South African Tourism Hub Head Australasia, Mosilo Sofonia said “It’s such a pleasure working with Sunday Night Takeaway and the prize partners in rewarding these extremely deserving individuals whose exceptionally inspiring stories moved the nation. It is our pleasure to reward them with an all-expense paid trip to experience the best the country has to offer, from wildlife, scenic beauty, to our welcoming people.”
