Wild Bush Luxury: Latest Offers

The Arkaba Walk promises four days of inspiring bush walking through the rugged Australian outback. You’ll be expertly guided through the Flinders Ranges, uncovering the rich history of an ancient terrain and discovering the wonders of the private wildlife conservancy as you go.

Wild Bush Luxury are proposing two Special Offers across 2019 to entice families and solo travelers alike for an authentic outback experience like no other.

Just for Families

Embark on an immersive learning experience for the entire family – The Arkaba Walk has curated three trips to coincide with the school holidays exclusively for families. One child aged between 8-16 years free of charge with compliments when travelling with two adults. Over the four days of trekking, families will track Australian wildlife and learn the habits of different species by day, sharing stories around a campfire and sleeping in deluxe swags under a canopy of stars by night. During the excursion, your family will also gain insight into the networks established by the native people of the Ikara-Flinders Ranges in an Adnamatna cultural session. Full itinerary and more information on the walk can be found here.

This offers saves $2900 per family, with dedicated departures on:

  • 15 – 18 April
  • 9 – 12 July
  • 16 – 19 July 2019

Solo Walkers

Arkaba recognizes the transformative impact of solo travel, but also understands it can be a daunting prospect for many. Arkaba is encouraging individual travelers to go it alone with a dedicated solo departure for guests to immerse themselves in the outback alongside other solo adventurers. Departing Adelaide on a private charter flight, guests will spend four days traversing the outback with up to ten like-minded individuals from all walks of life.

Beginning in the Wilpena Pound basin, guests will track kangaroos along the foothills of Elder Range, cross the Red Range to the tranquil 1850s Homestead and savour wines from the Clare Valley. Includes two night’s deluxe swag camping beneath the stars and one night in the cosy Heritage Homestead. Full itinerary and more information on the departure can be found here.
