Longstanding Managing Director of Trafalgar Australia, Matthew Cameron-Smith, has been internally promoted to the role of Managing Director of AAT Kings & Inspiring Journeys from the 1st April 2019 following the resignation of Hans Belle in January.
For Cameron-Smith, this follows an extremely successful eight years at the helm of Trafalgar. In this new role, he will lead the AAT Kings team of more than 400 staff and the acclaimed Australia and New Zealand portfolio across Guided Holidays, Short Breaks and Day Tours as well as well as its Small Group Journeys collection, Inspiring Journeys.
Cameron-Smith will remain at Trafalgar until March 31st to ensure a continued 2019 selling season as well as a seamless transition for Trafalgar’ Australia’s next Managing Director. Additionally, Hans Belle is remaining at AAT Kings for a period to help manage a smooth transition to Matthew.
