Even before her international debut, the Aquila 30 has been nominated as a finalist for the Multihull of the Year award in the power multihulls category by Multihulls World. “We are thrilled that Aquila 30 has been nominated for this very impressive award. Last year, the Aquila 36 won its category. We hope to win again for the second year in a row with our latest model,” said Lex Raas, President Aquila at MarineMax.

The Aquila 30 combines popular day boat and sport boat features while offering the ability to stay overnight with one cabin and one head. Like the Aquila 36, this new model is powered by Mercury outboards and offers a unique, innovative aft platform that wraps around the outboards. Boasting a wide beam, the Aquila 30 offers a large platform with plenty of space perfect for a day out with your friends and family, and a cozy stay overnight for a couple.

Called MULTIHULL OF THE YEAR, this award is given based on the results from those who visit the Multihulls World website vote to elect their favorite catamaran or trimaran. The aim is to offer real recognition to the boats that will be elected through a prize awarded by the public.

For this Multihull of the Year election, 2019, four categories have been defined: Under 40 feet, 40 to 55 feet, Over 55 feet and Power Multihulls. The nominees have been chosen by the journalists at Multihulls World and the organizers of the International Multihull Boat Show.

To qualify for nomination, new models must have been launched for the first time in the period between the 2018 editions and before the 2019 edition of the International Multihull Show. To vote, visit www.multihulloftheyear.com before April 23, 2019. The results are announced during the International Multihull Boat Show on April 24.
