As 2018 is coming to an end, people across the country are getting ready to celebrate the start of 2019. Out of the many activities out there, Hilton Ngapali’s specially crafted New Year celebration promises to be a must-go. Taking the center of stage is Than Thar Moe Htet, who rose to fame with her popular covers of major hit songs such as Despacito (originally sung in Spanish by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee and later sung in English by Justin Bieber) and Shape of You (Ed Sheeran), which went viral on Facebook and YouTube. Along with Yoe Yoe (Vocal, Guitar), Juzz (Vocal and cajón) and Deih Lam (Keyboard), Than Thar Moe Htet formed The Messenger Acoustic Band.

The celebrations at Hilton Ngapali will start Monday, 31 December 2018 at 9:30 PM with poolside cocktails before moving onto the Gala Dinner buffet and a toast at midnight, at the price of Ks 180,000 net per person. Hilton has been operating in Myanmar since October 2014 and will launch three more hotels under its flagship Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand in the country over the next three to five years.
