Invented in 1929 by L.A. based entrepreneur, Ruth Handler, co-founder of L.A. County-based Mattel, popular toys such as Barbie and Hot Wheels can be found at the Mattel Experience in Terminal 5, starting from USD$3.99.

Sporting memorabilia from Magic Johnson

Hats, socks, shorts and more bearing the logo of Los Angeles storied franchises such as Clippers, Lakers, Dodgers and Rams can all be found at the Magic Johnson Sports store in Terminal 5. Prices vary.

Original L.A. Streetwear

 L.A. is the birthplace of cult favourite streetwear brands including The Hundreds, which has teamed up with L.A. Original, a collection born of diverse artists and makers from across L.A., to create an exclusive embroided tee shirt for USD$48. Luke Pelletier, an artist living in L.A., has created a custom L.A. Originals skateboard design, celebrating L.A.’s notoriety as the birthplace of the newest Olympic sport, for USD$100. See more from the L.A.
