Lace up your joggers and get ready to hit the tarmac and raise critical funds for Cure Cancer at this Sunday’s Sydney Airport Family Fun Runway Run.
Supporting Cure Cancer’s fight against all types of cancer, this year’s event will be bigger than ever, with the opportunity to take part in up to four races, as well as a family fun day featuring food, entertainment, family-friendly activities and a visit from Santa himself!
People of all ages are invited to take part in the event, which gives families, runners and aviation enthusiasts alike the chance to race down one of Sydney Airport’s iconic runways.
Races are designed to suit every type of runner and trophies will be presented to the winners. The categories include: 100m Kids’ Dash, 500m Seriously Fun Run, 1km Competitive Run and Relay Race in teams of four.
All proceeds will go towards helping Australia’s brightest emerging cancer researchers find a cure for cancer.

LOCATION AND RUN SCHEDULE
7.30am Media registrations open at Blu Emu car park, Ross Smith Ave, Mascot NSW 2020
(Please be prompt as you will be transported to the runway by bus)
7.45am Buses begin departing for the runway
11.15am Event concludes and media will be transported back to Blu Emu car park
RUNWAY ACCESS REQUIREMENTS
You must bring photo identification (passport or driver licence) and wear covered shoes in order to be granted airfield access.
PARKING
Media parking is available at the Blu Emu car park. If you require parking for a link truck onsite please contact media@syd.com.au to arrange.
