In celebration of white truffle season, Zuma Hong Kong presents their annual tasting menu, available from Friday 26 October until the end of the year. This refined 12-course journey, continues to establish Zuma Hong Kong’s culinary creativity and offers guests an outstanding white truffle experience at every stage of the menu, from appetisers to dessert.

Italian white truffle remains one of the world’s most prized food items and Zuma Hong Kong’s tasting menu features a generous serving of the delicacy to ensure the experience provides great value [HKD2,280 per person]. This luxurious menu starts with seared toro with caviar and white truffle and a Japanese oyster with purple shiso tapioca. The first hot dish is a spicy lobster soup with shrimps, shimeji mushrooms to add a kick of warmth before enjoying the wagyu tartare served with a miso brioche followed by a fresh mizuna salad with onsen tamago and crispy butabara. Next, savour a premium selection of sashimi with live seafood, and a sumptuous slow cooked abalone with white truffle.

The experience continues with a roasted lobster seasoned with garlic, shiso and ponzu butter and a black angus ribeye with a side ofcabbage papilotte to bring out the aroma of the white truffle. Those looking to indulge even further can swap out the ribeye for the f1 grade niigata snow aged sirloin with signature Zuma sauce. To round off the tasting menu, the final savoury dish is a wild mushrooms kamameshi riceprepared with none other than truffle butter. Wine and sake pairings are also available on request.

Zuma Hong Kong’s desserts are nothing short of divine and the grand finale to this year’s white truffle menu does not disappoint. A delicate balance of rich and refreshing, the white chocolate truffle molten cake with Japanese yuzu sorbet is beautifully plated and the perfect combination of textures and flavour to conclude the exceptional culinary journey.
