“It was fantastic to start this year’s South African Tourism Roadshow in Perth and bring together travel agents from across the state. Attendance has been overwhelming with the show providing a platform for agents to build unforgettable itineraries for their clients. Our very own ambassador, Urzila Carlson, certainly provided plenty of laughs, showcasing highlights from her visit to the country last month. We can’t wait to get back on the road and welcome travel agents in Brisbane, Sydney, Auckland and Melbourne to show them exactly what South Africa has to offer.”

To bring the show to life, South African Tourism partnered with airline partner, South African Airways (SAA).

While the occasion provided an engaging and educational experience, it was also an evening filled to the brim with excitement and prizes that saw two lucky agents win a spot on a familiarisation trip to SA to ‘Meet South Africa’ for themselves.

Agents who join one of the remaining Roadshow events will also have the opportunity to win a spot on the familiarisation simply by attending the night. Those who don’t win on the night will also get another chance to win one of six spots on the familiarisation trip by entering the South African Specialist Competition athttps://www.southafrica.net/gl/en/trade/page/sa-specialist-competition.
