Seashells Hospitality Group Chief Operating Officer Gareth Thomas has been honoured with an induction into the Australian Hotels Association WA Accommodation Industry Hall of Fame.

The presentation was made to him at the annual AHA 2018 (WA) Perth Airport WA Accommodation Awards for Excellence last night at The Westin Perth.

Gareth has more than 36 years’ experience in hotels and resorts across Australia, in the UK and China, and has directly managed four and five star properties since 1991.

He has worked with Seashells Hospitality Group for nine years as both Group General Manager and more recently as Chief Operating Officer.

Gareth oversees all aspects of the management and operations of Seashells’ five luxury properties located from Broome to Yallingup along the WA coast, and is always on the lookout for new avenues to further develop the Seashells group within the hospitality and tourism sectors.

Other accommodation properties Gareth has had responsibility for include Reef Hotel Casino in Cairns; the Chifley on Flemington in Melbourne; Rendezvous Observation City Perth, and Broadwater Hospitality Group.

Seashells Hospitality Group Chief Executive Officer Paul King was the proud recipient of this award in 2016.
