Change is something we promise ourselves regularly: making everyday commitments to quit bad habits, live in the present and be a better person. Yet much of the time, life gets in the way — time is precious and the daily demands can quickly overwhelm the best of intentions. COMO Shambhala at COMO Parrot Cay is providing a solution. This haven of peace and calm, set well away from the rest of the world, is the ideal place to visit and reflect on some of those many intended changes, especially while COMO Parrot Cay hosts the ‘Well of Grace Retreat’.

The ‘Well of Grace’ retreat, from November 4th to 10th 2018, will be led by renowned yoga instructor Elena Brower. Guests will enjoy five days of guided yoga sequences and meditation, with a clear focus on self-awareness and self-discovery — the ultimate goal to inspire change that can be adopted in your daily life.

Elena, who has been practising yoga since 1998, is respected across the globe for her distinct blend of alignment and attention in her teaching of yoga and meditation. Her first book, Art of Attention, has been published in six languages, whilst her popular second book, Practice You: A Journal, is being incorporated into yoga and healing worldwide. She is committed to helping you gain innermost wisdom.

Sample Workshop Day:

  • 8.00am — Breakfast
  • 9.00am — Asana yoga sequence, meditation and journaling with Elena (two hours)
  • 12.30pm — Lunch
  • 2.00pm — Leisure time, where guests can enjoy treatments at COMO Shambhala
  • 4.00pm —  Yoga sequence including yin, restoratives, pranayama and meditation (one-and-a-half hours)
  • From 6.30pm — Dinner and leisure time
