Canberra’s renowned Monster Kitchen & Bar has announced several exciting changes with celebrated Melbourne-based chef and hospitality consultant Ian Curley as Creative Culinary Partner, working with the team at Monster Kitchen and Bar.

Ian Curley says: “I am delighted to be working with the well-established Monster Kitchen and Bar. For me it is about evolving Monster and building on its already stellar reputation – I can’t wait to help develop the food and beverage personality of the venue even further.”

Additionally, Monster Kitchen & Bar’s long-time head chef Daniel Flatt who has lead the kitchen for over 4 years will be taking the reins as Executive Chef with the departure of executive chef Sean McConnell to pursue his own projects.

Monster Kitchen & Bar located in designer hotel Ovolo Nishi Canberra and currently holds one chef’s hat in the Good Food Guide 2018 and one star in Gourmet Traveller’s Australian Restaurant Guide 2018, and has redefined what hotel dining should be.
