Radisson Hotel Grouphas celebrated the grand opening of a spectacular new Radisson Blu®resort in Bali, Indonesia’s “Island of the Gods”.

Perched dramatically on a cliff-top between two beaches on Bali’s stunning southern peninsula, Radisson Blu Bali Uluwatu becomes the brand’s inaugural property in Indonesia.

Designed in a traditional Balinese style, this elegant low-rise resort features 111 contemporary rooms and 14 well-appointed suites, plus impressive facilities and lush tropical gardens.

The glittering grand opening ceremony was attended by local dignitaries, travel trade partners and senior Radisson Hotel Group executives including Katerina Giannouka, President for Asia Pacific; Björn-Henning Buth, the resort’s General Manager; and Triswono Nilam, Managing Director of PT Gadelius, who also owns the property.

“Indonesia is a highly important market for Radisson Hotel Group, underlined by the fact that we recently hosted our annual Asia Pacific Business Conference in the country. We are very proud to open our third property in Indonesia and our first Radisson Blu® on the beautiful southern shores of Bali. I would like to congratulate Pak Triswono and the team for creating such an outstanding property,” said Katerina.

The resort’s stylish rooms and suites range in size from 58 to 148 square meters, and all come equipped with private balconies or terraces. Every spacious suite is crowned with a stunning rooftop terrace that overlooks the pool or ocean.

There are many ways for guests to unwind at Radisson Blu Bali Uluwatu, including the outdoor pool surrounded by sun-loungers and cabanas; the serene Spa ESC, which features seven private treatment rooms; a state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga room and beauty salon.

Artichoke, the resort’s main restaurant, serves local and international cuisine throughout the day, including Radisson Blu’s signature “Super Breakfast”, while Filini, the brand’s authentic Italian restaurant concept, makes its Asia Pacific debut at the resort. A choice of lounges and bars also ensures that guests can relax and reconnect with each other throughout the day or night.

Radisson Blu Bali Uluwatu is the perfect destination for memorable meetings and dream weddings, with a choice of two flexible function rooms that can accommodate up to 240 guests, plus two alfresco pavilions, all supported by professional support and cutting-edge audio-visual technology, including Radisson Blu’s One Touch app.

Bali, Indonesia’s most popular tourist destination, welcomed a record 5.7 million international visitors in 2017 and the island’s popularity shows no signs of diminishing. Blessed with blissful beaches, spectacular natural landscapes and an enchanting local culture, the Island of the Gods looks set to captivate global travelers for many years to come.
