Spread the love

Hypnotic rolling waves, white sand beaches, exotic cuisine and beautiful temples amongst natural landscapes are images most travelers paint when thinking of Bali. However, there is much more to the destination than tropical paradise. At this year’s Bali & Beyond Travel Fair (BBTF 2018), we experienced first-hand the hidden gems the island has to offer.

Sababay Winery

Sample authentic, award-winning Indonesian wine, made with love using the best quality grapes from Balinese farmers at Sababy Winery. Our favorite was the Reserve Red, rich and oaky, paired with Bebek Betutu, a local meat dish. For sweeter palates, we highly recommend the Moscato d’Bali. Fresh and fagrant with flowers and mango overtones, this bubbly superstar has continuously wowed judges from international competitions since 2014. Have a taste at http://m.sababaywinery.com/

Garuda Wisnu Kencada Cultural Park

Be enchanted by scenic views, the lotus pond, mythological stories engraved upon walls of stone, traditional street performances, Balinese art and majestic statues at the Garuda Wisnu Kencada Cultural Park. Spread across 60 hectares, Bali’s most beautiful heritage park is surely a must-visit venue. See what the hype is all about at http://gwkbali.com/
