Australia’s regional business communities have received the ‘stamp of approval’ with Australia Post partnering with 8point8: Regional Innovation and Small Business Conference to help support and encourage regional entrepreneurship.

The August conference will bring together councils, business chambers, universities, Government bodies, co-working space entrepreneurs, and many more – with expert panels and key notes from acclaimed regional entrepreneurs like Jane Cay of birdsnest, Christopher Saunders of Renew Newcastle and Jack Archer of The Regional Australia Institute.

8point8 founder Di Somerville said this was not the first time she collaborated with Australia Post, having previously worked together on the Australia Post Regional Pitchfest in 2017.

“The Australia Post Regional Pitchfest struck a chord with regional communities as it championed the efforts of the entrepreneurs who grow their businesses and communities in regional Australia.

”8point8 is about bringing all the decision makers to the table to learn and share the best ways to grow our regions and embrace entrepreneurship and innovation. Working with like-minded people and organisations such as Australia Post is an important part of the conversation as they see the importance of a thriving regional work future.”

8point8, Regional Innovation and Small Business Conference will be held at the Civic Theatre Wagga Wagga from 22 – 23 August. For further information and registration visit www.eightpointeight.com.au
