In Denmark Falck has been testing Basware’s system the last 12 months. By implementing the same system globally, it will be easier for Falck’s management to get a complete overview and analyse the company’s processes at all levels, point out areas with potential for improvement and ensure to realise the positive potential and discount rates in supply contracts with its suppliers.

”The implementation of Basware’s solution supports Falck’s IT and growth strategy and standardise our use of P2P systems. We expect to increase our compliance furthermore and automate internal processes with regards to purchase, payments and accounting,” said Allan Kjer, Vice President of Global Business Services at Falck.

Allan Kjer expects that the new solution from Basware will handle up to 700,000 transactions on a yearly basis.

Basware offers an advanced P2P platform, which is intuitive and easy to use, supports true e-transactions, and ensures a high degree of auto-matching of received invoices against approved purchase orders. Basware is used by many international corporations such as Pfizer, GE Healthcare, and Astra Zeneca.

”Falck can realise cost savings, quicker working processes, eliminate human errors, and organisationally become even better to act by internal guidelines and current legislation, which in turn will lead to a high degree of compliance,” said Henrik Stanley-Madsen, Managing Director of Basware Denmark.
