This year, a total of 14 Langham Hospitality Group’s hotels have been recognised by Tripadvisor’s annual Travelers’ Choice Awards. This remarkable achievement shines a spotlight on hospitality-related companies that have earned great traveller reviews on the global review site over the past year.

The highest accolade goes to Cordis Shanghai, Hongqiao, which secured the “Best of the Best” award. The luxury hotel joins the ranks amongst the top one per cent of the highest-rated and exceptional hotels in the world that are listed on Tripadvisor.

“We are immensely proud to be given this recognition as it is a testament to the great service that our hotels under Langham Hospitality Group have consistently delivered to our guests,” said Stefan Leser, chief executive officer for the Hong Kong-based Langham Hospitality Group. “We know that most of our guests search for authentic reviews and feedback, and this strong acknowledgment by Tripadvisor gives them added confidence to stay in our hotels especially during such a challenging time for the travel industry.”

The Travelers’ Choice awards honour travellers’ favourite destinations, properties, businesses and activities worldwide based on the reviews and opinions on Tripadvisor every year. To be recognised, hotels must consistently earn great reviews and, in a calendar year, maintain an overall “bubble rating” of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews, and must have been listed on Tripadvisor for at least 12 months.

The Best of the Best Awards are calculated based on the millions of reviews and opinions collected in 2020 from travellers around the world. Based on a full year of Tripadvisor reviews, the award winners represent travellers’ ultimate favourite hotels around the globe.
